IXEurope
IXEurope is a leading pan-European independent data centre and facilities management company providing services to corporates, system integrators, telecommunication companies and Internet service providers. Since it's founding in July 1999, IXEurope has grown rapidly and currently operates 16 data centres throughout Europe, including centres in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Zurich and Geneva. In September 2007, the company had approximately 120 employees and more than 400 blue chip customers.
From 2000 through September 2007, funds advised by Argan team members were the co-leading investor in IXEurope and supported its management team in the company’s Pan-European development from one data centre in London. Over the seven-year period of ownership by Argan team member advised funds, IXEurope achieved over 30% annual revenue growth. IXEurope successfully floated on AIM (ticker: IXE) in April 2006 and in September 2007, IXEurope was sold to Equinix, the leading US data centre business.
